Life Lately: August

I've decided I need to be better about putting our pictures somewhere so I'm going to try monthly to post about what life has been like. Hopefully I can stay motivated. It will be a lot of pictures and not very much writing which is the fun of this blog anyway!

We went mini golfing for FHE one night and Emry loved it!

Emry is still taking gymnastics and she has learned how to do a back-bend really well! So proud of this girl for working hard and learning!
This is my view all day every day! "Pick me up Mom!" Of course, I normally do because he's too cute!
Bowling fun. This boy is too cute!
Emry wanted to bowl all by herself. She's getting too big!
This one won't turn, I don't know why but these are our snuggles on the couch. I'll take as many snuggles as I can get from this cute girl. I wish she could stay little forever!

More mini golfing with Jeffy for his birthday
Fun bonfire in the mountains with our cousins
Despite his face looking very unimpressed, he loved this chair and was very content to just sit there. Those lips are just too much!

Helping mom make cookies one Sunday
 Seven Peaks with Grandpa
Date night at Sundance to see the Bluebird Cafe show. Love this man.
First day of dance. She's the cutest little ballerina ever
We met up with Grandma Nancy one day she was in town and she was just looking too cute at City Creek.
We started practicing writing her name and she is getting pretty good. She can mostly write her first name on her own. She's such a smarty pants! Love her!

It's A...

GIRL!!!
coming March 2016

Oh we are so excited to announce we're having another baby girl! Emry is SO excited to have a baby sister and we can't wait to meet her. (Except we can wait because the thought of three kids sometimes terrifies me...)

Happy Birthday Olivia

I'll have to admit, this year was a hard one for me. Olivia would have been 5 this year which means we would have been entering a lot of firsts. She would be going to Kindergarten this year and seeing all the kids her age doing all these fun things had me really sad. I really miss this girl and honestly, I really miss that Emry didn't get to have her as her older sister. Sometimes I just sit and think about how much fun these girls would have had together. They would have been so much fun to watch together. The only thing that makes this okay is the fact that I know I get to have her again. All that is lost in this life will be given in the next. I have a very strong testimony of the Plan of Salvation. I've said it before but I think it's important to continually strengthen our testimonies. Having Olivia has added so much depth to my testimony of this gospel. I know it's true and I'm so grateful for the peace it brings in these really hard moments.

We love you sweet girl and miss you so much!
