September Overview

Pictures to remember life by...

Norah eats real food now and although she makes a giant mess, its wonderful to just add some food to her tray and let her go to town .
 Wesley loves the park!
Norah is starting to love the swing too!
So happy at our 6 month doctor appointment (before the shots...)
Emry had cowgirl day at preschool and she loved every second of it!

This boy loves Norah so much!
Every time she gets close to me she tries to eat my face.
Then she saw the camera and laughed and laughed.
  She's the happiest baby!
Uncle Scottie came to visit so we took him to Thanksgiving Point and had a blast!
These two have the cutest relationship. They just love each other. Emry is always taking care of Wesley and Wesley is always wanting to play with Emry.
Emry loves to go on morning walks. She comes in to our room in the morning and asks to take a walk in the night of the morning (dawn-when it's still kinda dark but its actually morning). She was so happy I said yes this morning!
 Sitting up looking adorable!
More Thanksgiving Point fun with our friends!
We attempted potty training with this boy this month and man, was it a nightmare!! Accidents all the time and all that so we just kinda did things slower and he seems to be doing better. Two months later and we're still struggling (albeit doing much better!). Let's just say he was 100% harder than Emry was!
 Sibling love!
Her first day of preschool finally came. She's been asking me all summer long when she gets to go to preschool again. She's so excited! Can't wait to see how awesome she does and how much she grows this next year! She's going to Miss Kathy at Golden Start Preschool.
The same time we started potty training, we switched Wesley to his big boy bed (sorry there are no sheets in the picture but it's because they were being washed bc he peed the bed). Wesley is looking bigger and bigger! He's so much fun!
We went to our Regional Conference in a random Stake Center one Sunday. It was a particularly rough Sunday as we were still trying to deal with teaching Wesley how to use the potty and Norah was tired but wouldn't sleep. I had to go to the hall like 5 times, which I usually never do. After the conference was over the people behind us gave us this note and said, Thank You for your example to us and to our daughter. How nice for them to take the time to write that sweet note, especially when sometimes it feels like there is no reason for going to church because I'm just in the hall half the time. I know going to church is the best thing I could do for my kids, though, and I know it's all worth it eventually.

Norah's 6 Month Pictures

I took a fun girl's weekend trip to AZ to visit Rachael, Becca, and Jason & Jenna. It was such a fun time with just Norah and me. While I was there, Rachael took these cute shots of Norah. She's just the cutest, most adorable baby in the world! So grateful Rachael gave me these cute pictures!

I love this picture because it really shows Norah's personality. She always puts her finger in her mouth like that. She's adorable!
We had to take some pictures of our cute babies together. This is Rachael's Emry who is a year old. I wish we lived closer to each other so our kids could hang out and be best buds!

Arizona

I decided to take a little trip to Arizona to visit with Becca and Rachael. It was a short weekend, but it was so fun and so needed. I miss these girls so much and wish we all lived closer! I just took Norah and it was so weird having just her to worry about.
Norah on her first flight. We had to go so early but Norah did awesome. She was so happy and even slept some. The flight attendants were smitten with her cuteness!
I really should have taken more pictures... It was so fun hanging out with Becca again. She was my roommate for so long and I miss her so much. It was great to catch up, shop, eat good food, etc.
And then there is this girl who I just love so much! She and her husband will be moving next year to wherever the navy sends them so I knew I had to come see her before they moved across the US (or across the Atlantic). We had so much fun talking about life and motherhood. I look up to this girl so much and it's so good to see the home and life she has made. Here we are eating our signature dessert pizzokie!
I got to hang out with my brother and sister in law and this little guy too. So fun to see family!

Norah 6 Months

Half a year has flown by! I feel like I'm way less stressed and worried about things with Norah than I was with my other two so I have really just taken the time to enjoy her baby-dom! It's been so fun to just take it all in. We just love that little girl!
Weight: 15 lbs 11 oz (41%)
Height: 26 inch (55%)
Head: 16.5 inches (31%)
*Sits like a champ.
*Started reaching for things all the time. Wants to play with toys and put everything in her mouth.
*Smiles and laughs all the time
*Started preferring me over anyone else. When she sees me she just gets SO excited-it's the best! She isn't really scared of strangers but she definitely likes it better when mama is holding her!
*Really started getting good at eating. There really isn't anything she doesn't like-she'll eat whatever.
*We got her sleeping under control and most of the time she sleeps all night (let's just say letting her cry is not fun but worth it because it makes us all happier when the baby sleeps through the night!)
*Everyone comments on how big and blue her eyes are. They are beautiful!
*She loves to grab my face and pull me close so she can give me kisses (or just try to eat me-haha!)
*Learned how to put her own binky in now (Wahoo!)
*Mostly takes 2 naps (she still really could use a 3rd cat nap but she usually refuses to take it) and goes to bed around 7:30 and wakes up at about 7am.
*Still wears size 2 diapers but will probably move to size 3 soon when we run out of size 2
