So I realized today that I listen to the exact same songs over and over and over again while I'm at the gym. It's either Marie Digby, Missy Higgins, and if I feel like I need a big push Skillet. (that one is for Rachael, whom I miss very very much!) Today I ventured out and found my one true love, N' Sync and they did the job very well. But I need other songs that will boost my gym moral so that I can keep going! Let me know what gets you in the running mood!
It has to be up tempo stuff for sure. Here is some of my favorite on my I-pod for running to:
ReplyDeleteAlmost anything Bruce Springsteen
Some Kenny Chessney
Wheezer - Island in the Sun
Patty Loveless
Maroon 5 - She will be Loved
Lonestar - What about Now
Emerson, Lake & Palmer - Karn Evil 9: 1st Impressions (from my youth...thanks Brian..."Welcome Back my Friends to the show that never ends.....")
Counting Crows - Rain King/Accidentally in Love
Bare Naked Ladies - It's All Been Done
Aerosmith - Sweet Emotion
Shawn Colvin - When the Rainbow Comes
Patty Smyth - wish I were You
Z Top - La Grange
i'm all about songs i can keep a rhythm to. everybody dance now by c&c music factory is probably my favorite. :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, Dad's mix makes me laugh for some reason. Love it.
ReplyDeleteHere's my 2 cents...
This Is How We Do It by Montell Jordan
Can't Hold Us Down by Christina Aguilera
Fighter by Christina Aguilera
Dirrty by Christina Aguilera
Bootylicious by Destiny's Child
Survivor by Destiny's Child
Lady Marmalade by all those divas
Basically a bunch of girl power songs that make you want to up and dance.

ReplyDeleteremember.........all these songs were put on my ipod by my kids....
I had to read them off the i-pod screen, otherwise i would not have a clue
a)who sang them, or
b)the name of the song.
....see Andrea's previous post.....
I LOVE how Dad loves Maroon 5. It makes me laugh. :D And, I don't go to the gym. You should try it, it's very relaxing. :D haha
